Education

Christian education helps us learn God’s Word! It is essential for every Christian to understand His Word, because it is in His Word that He reveals His will for our lives.  The NLMBC Christian Education Department teaches the Word of God and how to live a victorious Christian lifestyle. The programs use dynamic curricula and materials to meet the individual growth needs of each Believer and allow for the discovery of Truth and spiritual gifts. Our inspiration comes from Matthew 28:18-20, which is the Great Commission. Through loving and nurturing instruction, our goal is to grow Believers into disciples who, like the Bereans (Acts 17:11), search the Scriptures day after day to see if our teachings are the truth, and who will advance the teachings of Jesus, equipping others.

 

The Education Ministry includes the following departments:

Sundays

  1. Sunday Church School (all ages) including New Member Foundation & Orientation

  2. Youth Church (1st-12th Grade)

  3. Children’s Worship Workshop (Toddlers)

Tuesdays

  1. Turn-Up Tuesday Worship & The Word

    1. Youth Bible Study (18 and under)

    2. Adult Bible Study (19 and older)

  2. Men’s Cave with Christ (Second Tuesdays Group Study)

  3. Women’s Cafe Chocolat’ (Second Tuesdays Group Study)
